Carnegie Duplex

This duplex, located in Chifley, typifies the recent transition of Architecture from low to medium density under the new Medium Diversity Complying Development Guidelines. The area presents an ever changing streetscape, and as such the architectural response here was to respond to the client brief whilst also nodding to the past. The material pallet of timber and concrete, used in a simple and contemporary way, offers a timeless response for this Chifley duplex build. The facade has been carefully orchestrated to highlight each dwelling as separate from the other, giving each owner identity.
